encourage students to plan how they will use the time on the day. See the At the Pole page of this site for suggestions.
Encourage them to prayerfully plan ahead!
If they have a school Christian club,
students may make SYATP an officially publicised club activity.
Prepare youth to use evangelistic opportunities
that will come through SYATP. Encourage them to ask, "Did you hear about what happened today?" They can follow up with, "Do you ever think about spiritual things?" "What would you want someone to pray about for you?" "Do you ever pray?" These questions or others can lead into opportunities for clear presentations of the gospel. Encourage them to invite students to your group's next event.
